We pray for those affected by the conflict in Israel. "Sovereign Lord, may this latest outbreak of war become an opportunity to move Israelis and Palestinians to a more enduring and mutually beneficial peace. Especially may Palestinian Christians and Jewish followers of the Messiah set the example in pursuing peace.”

We anticipate that travel will again by safe by the Fall of 2025. Our agreements with Kingdom Tours emphasize these guiding values.

We believe in a quality travel experience that is safe. If it isn’t safe, we won’t travel.

About the Trip

Let us explore the Holy Land and experience the footsteps of Jesus! Consider this a pilgrimage where the people and places of the Bible turn from “black and white” to “full color.” Our journey enjoys the best of accommodations, top tour guides, and Spiritual Directors that help create those “a-ha” moments. It will be the trip of a lifetime! Check out the overview of the travel itinerary in the Stories section at the bottom of this page.

Spiritual Directors: Our trip is hosted by brothers Pastor Roger Theimer from King of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha and Pastor Doyle Theimer from Christ the King Lutheran Church in Houston.

Who is Welcome: Pilgrims are welcome from anywhere in the United States. You do not need to be a King of Kings or Christ the King church member to participate.

Informational Meetings: We will begin our information meetings in July 2024 on Zoom meetings. If you register, you will receive full information.

Bible Study: For those who decide to take this pilgrimage, we will host an online Bible Study to learn more about the places and events of Jesus' life. The events and places of the Bible become so much more real when we have studied them beforehand.

Traveler Profiles: As the trip grows nearer, those who decide to join the trip will create Personal Profiles. These Profiles will continue to build a sense of community by allowing you to see who else will be traveling with us.

Traveling Together/Travel Groups: Each bus of Travelers will be hosted by a Spiritual Director and Assistant, who will help build community. You will also be part of a Travel Group of 6-12 where you can deepen friendships as we travel together.
