India is an ever-changing country, and there is spiritual change as well. The number of Christians are growing. We witnessed first-hand lives transformed through some dynamic ministries. Without giving specific names of ministries, we see extradinary examples of what God is using. One is a high-standard K-12 school that offers Christian perspectives from teachers to a student body that is majority non-Christian. We also witnessed the construction in progress for a future college which will offer Christian perspectives in their teaching. Another amazing ministry is a ministry to rescue destitute women or those bound in cycles of poverty. These might be women who are struggling due to being widowed or abuse. They train in skills to start their own business or become an essential part of one mainly in tailoring and sewing. This gives the women a brighter future, an income with more stability, and a platform to learn more about the faith.
